Use a horizontal strip of choices instead of a wheel. Orbit's Roulette is a random selection utility, not a betting or casino service.
The custom Roulette preset starts with four editable choices. Replace them with tasks, games, food options or names. A pointer marks the selected card when the strip stops. Images can make each card easier to recognise.
The application also has a fixed European number preset. It is a random number selection display; Orbit does not accept wagers, handle money or pay winnings.
Add images to entries, adjust weights, choose a template, or use fullscreen for a group. Import and export your choices, and download a .orbit backup to keep your local wheels and images. Creating a share link publishes a separate read-only snapshot; recipients can make their own copy. No account is required.
After an online visit activates the service worker, the local tools work offline. Creating or opening a new remote share link still requires a connection. Keep a backup before clearing browser storage.
Orbit uses browser Web Crypto to select a result before the animation begins. The wheel or strip then lands on that already selected result; its movement does not decide the winner. With weighted entries enabled, larger weights give an entry a larger share of the selection probability. Coin Flip uses two equally likely outcomes.
Random selection is useful for everyday choices. It does not guarantee a particular outcome or replace the rules and eligibility checks of a giveaway.
