Install Orbit and Use It Offline
Orbit can be installed as a web app where your browser supports it. Installation controls and wording vary by browser and device.
Chrome and Edge on desktop
Open Orbit over HTTPS and look for an install control in the address bar or browser menu. In Chrome this may appear under Cast, save and share; in Edge look under Apps. If an install option is not available, you can still use the site in a normal browser tab. Installation is not required to use its local tools.
Android and iPhone / iPad
In a supporting Android browser, look for Install app or Add to Home screen in the menu. On iPhone or iPad, open the site in Safari, use Share and choose Add to Home Screen. Recent iOS versions may offer Open as Web App. If the action is absent, check the browser's current help and the Share menu's available actions. These steps describe supported browser flows, not a guarantee for every device.
Prepare for offline use
Visit once while online and wait for the offline service worker to activate. Try opening a tool before disconnecting. Installed and normal browser use both depend on the browser keeping cached files and local data. Number Picker, Teams, Dice, Yes / No, local wheels and help pages are designed to work offline.
Publishing or deleting remote shares and fetching a new remote snapshot need internet. An update may show a reload action; finish the current selection and export useful data before updating. Installing does not back up your data or sync it across devices.
