Dice Roller — Visual Rolls and Totals

Throw d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 or d20 rigid-body dice. Observe the settled faces, or roll percentile pairs and add an optional modifier.

A physical throw

Choose d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 or d100 and roll one to six dice. Familiar polyhedra use convex colliders, a table, gravity, angular velocity, friction and restitution. Percentile d100 uses two physical d10 dice per result. A modifier is added once to the total.

Settled orientation determines the result

Web Crypto seeds initial positions, orientations and velocities. The simulation waits for continuous low linear and angular velocities, then inspects face normals against world-up. Ambiguous edge states continue settling. There is no target face, invisible corrective torque or final orientation snap.

Custom numeric sides

Arbitrary custom sides retain secure integer selection and a numeric reveal rather than claiming to model a fair custom polyhedron. Use Numeric Dice Roller for larger batches. Earlier shared visual-dice snapshots retain compatible preselected animation behavior.

New roll or replay

Replay same run uses the saved seed, setup and physics version without adding history. Roll dice starts a new throw. Reduced motion computes the same physical result without prolonged movement. Results stay local until an explicit share; cached tools work offline.

Private until you choose to share

A roll or draw stays on this device. Orbit keeps your settings and a bounded history in browser storage, without an account or automatic entry upload. Download a full .orbit backup from the Wheel workspace to include your tools, or use the visual-tools backup on this page. Clearing browser storage can remove your data.

Create share link explicitly publishes an independent configuration snapshot, including the images that the active tool uses. It does not include history, remaining deck state or an animation in progress. Anyone with the link can run a session-local draw or make an editable copy. Review labels and images before sharing.
